Indian Navy Notified Recruitment for Pilot/Observer 2015

Indian Navy issued notification inviting applications from unmarried men and women for Short Service Commission (SSC) as Pilot/ Observer in the Executive Branch of the Navy for the course commencing June 2015 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala. Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through Nausena website till 3 October 2014

Course Details

Service: Short Service Commission (SSC)

Period of Service: a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years;

Course commences: June 2015

Course centre: Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala.

Designation: Pilot/ Observer in the Executive Branch

Gender specifications:

For Pilot: only unmarried male candidates

For Observer: both unmarried male & female candidates

Eligibility Conditions

Age limit:

19 years- 24 years (25 years for CPL holders)

Educational Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline with Mathematics & Physics at (10+2) level.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews will be done on the basis of their qualifications.  

Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) will short-list applications for 5-day SSB Interviews, to be held between December 2014 and March 2015 at Bangalore. The interview will have 2 stages -- Stage- I (one day) and Stage-II (4 days).

Candidates clearing the test(s) will be appointed for training. They will be inducted as Officers under Pilot/ Observer entry scheme in the rank of Sub Lieutenant and undergo Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. They will be on probation for a period of two years. The training is scheduled to commence in the month of June 2015.

Pay Scale

For Sub- Lieutenant posts: PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 per month

• Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through Nausena website www.nausena-bharti.nic.in till 3 October 2014.
• After applying online candidates should take 2 printouts of the submitted application form with system generated Application Number mentioned on it and send one copy along with their photograph, attested copies of relevant certificates/ mark-sheets/ documents by ordinary post to ‘Post Box No.02, Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi - 110 023’ so as to reach the concerned office on or before 13 October 2014.
